[Inuyasha] The City of Naraku

Legend has it that by using the souls of a powerful priestess and various demons, one could create a priceless treasure capable of granting any wish: the Shikon Jewel. "A priestess's duty isn't to become a sacrifice to demons. That's the one thing I absolutely cannot do. No matter what, I will not become another Midoriko." "The person who killed me was... myself?!" The dead return to life. "How pitiful, Kikyo. I never thought I'd see you looking so wretched." "Cry, suffer, hate. No one but me, Naraku, will ever give you hope again." A conspiratorial smile. Author's note: This is a Naraku/Kikyo story, a wholesome, healing romance. The heroine is a priestess who is one of Kikyo's reincarnations, not Kagome, and she transmigrates into Kikyo. If you don't like this, please don't flame me. The original story's plot is heavily overturned and completely reworked, so if you can't accept this setup, please quietly move along. Thanks for your cooperation.
