On one side lies the city, cold and indifferent; on the other, the town, stiflingly hot and violent. The young man is forced to move between the two, encountering all sorts of strange things. What is it all for? Where does he belong?
Both sides have different kinds of love, different societies, and different fates, yet there is only one answer. Who cursed whom?
In the end, the story is destined for tragedy... at the very moment the mystery is revealed...
