The Fragrance Hidden in the Plum (Gu Jian Qi Tan 2 Fan Fiction, Qing Xia X Qing)

Many years later, I thought again of the story he had once told me.

He said it was a story like a plum blossom: blooming in the wrong season, it could only die alone in the snow. As he said this, he looked up at the deep blue sky. I didn't know who he was thinking of.

But I thought it was a story about a tiger.

The tiger in the human heart is like wildfire, like a blade's edge, like a bottomless abandoned well.

It prowls in that distant royal city,

and no one has ever escaped its claws.

Every one of us is a ghost wandering among the living.
