Immortal's Retreat: The Rouge Shop

Just one glance at the Jade Pool Immortals' Banquet stirred the heart of Yanhua, the pure and celibate fairy of pastries, which had been tranquil for six hundred years. From that moment on, she could no longer take her eyes off him. But just as she had fallen for him, he left for the mortal realm to undergo a trial of love without even saying goodbye. Yanhua couldn't bear to wait that long, so she resolutely went to the mortal realm to seek him, bringing along one of the Supreme Lord Lao's spirit cats. In the Jiangnan region, in Nanshan City, as the last peach blossoms of spring faded, a pastry shop opened on Jing Shang Street. Its proprietress was a young woman with a fair, delicate face and a small, rosy mouth, and she made wonderful pastries. No one knew where she came from or where she was headed. She avoided crowds and minded her own business, yet always stumbled into strange happenings. She kept a cat called Yao'er and quietly waited for someone. Everyone is bound by fate. When her wait became nothing but an illusion, could the destined bond in her life still blossom and bear fruit? I never imagined food could change a person. It was the bonds found in food that changed people. Every pastry in this book has its own story. Below is my newly started, currently serialized story. Please click through, please, please... Theme:
