A modern alternate-universe fanfic based on The Sun and the Moon in the Sky. Fu Hongxue, Ye Kai, and the others are all reimagined as modern characters.
A powerful couple. Definitely a story of love and hate, physical and emotional angst, and a fight to the death.
Fu Hongxue becomes a mysterious boss, with his aura and intelligence turned all the way up (I didn't say his emotional intelligence was, too~). Ye Kai becomes an all-purpose undercover agent, so capable it's almost unbelievable. He won't cry nearly as often... Some characters and relationships are taken from the original. I'm terrible at coming up with names, so I directly borrowed names for various supporting characters... As a result, I had a lot to imagine while writing.
A big mash-up of names from the original, the TV series, and derivative works. Hong-Kai is the main pairing, Qi-Ling is the secondary pairing, and the secret Zhui-Meng-Feng pairing just sort of happened... All four couples feel a little... out of place in a modern setting... Please forgive me. What can I say, I was too lazy to come up with names~
