Miss Su is a ghost.
She says, "I'm a ghost, I swear."
No one believes that Miss Su is a ghost, except Miss Su herself.
Her father, Master Su, was so worried about it that he barely ate or slept for three days. He only said that his daughter had fallen behind the artificial hill three days ago. The fall had sent her straight into a dry well. She must have hit her head.
So everyone assumed Miss Su had hit her head. Even fewer people believed that she was a ghost.
Miss Su felt terribly wronged. She really was a ghost, one who had been dead for a very long time.
A ghost accidentally possesses a young lady, recounting a life full of joy and sorrow, and her brief romance. TAT
The ending is a little bittersweet.
