I recently rewatched the Young and Dangerous movies and found myself in a terrible mood, so I decided to look for fan fiction. But Young and Dangerous stories are so obscure that, with no other choice, the author decided to make her own.
She grew up in an orphanage, but she wasn't gloomy or cold. She had only one friend, yet longed for more affection and a greater sense of belonging.
An accident brought two people from entirely different worlds together. A gangster, the very sort she would avoid like the plague, barged into her peaceful life.
He loved her, and then she fell in love with him. Their relationship was bound to face one twist after another.
She said, "I've already died once, so what is there left that I can't get over?"
Please note:
1. This is a one-on-one romance. The female lead neither transmigrates nor is reborn.
2. Much of the geographical information doesn't stand up to scrutiny. Research buffs with a compulsion for accuracy, please stay away.
3. The story has angst along the way and a tragic ending. The female lead isn't all-powerful, but she does attract quite a few men. It's a little wish-fulfillment. If that's not your thing, please click away.
4. The setting draws on the movies, comics, and the author's imagination. The writing is mediocre, so read it for the plot alone. If you don't like that, please stay away.
Here is a great reversal of fortune for villains unlike anything you've seen before. Have you ever seen the side of them that no one knows?
