"Wherever you go, I will follow you. This is not only a mission your sister entrusted to me, but also my own choice."
"If you ever stray from the right path on your journey through life, I will use the sword in my hand to cut you back onto it without mercy."
"There's no turning back now. From today on, I entrust my back to you, and I hope you'll be able to rely on my strength as well."
"Live well, Captain Okita."
1. The male lead of this story is Okita Sougo.

3. The plot follows the original story.
4. There may be some muddled sections. Please point them out if you spot any. Canon enthusiasts, please go easy on me.
5. I won't abandon this story before I get Sougo's figure during summer vacation. Updates will probably be weekly. If I leave it unfinished for too long, feel free to whip me XDDD
6. I'll do my best to preserve the characters' true personalities and keep them in character.
7. Hope you enjoy reading w.
