I said I wasn't going to start a new story, but lately I just haven't been able to control myself. I couldn't resist the urge to write, so here I am with a new one, dedicated to our life mentor, Mr. Hiddleston.
The title comes from a line by Shakespeare, Hiddleston's favorite writer: The course of true love never did run smooth. The path of true love never runs smoothly. (This line is from one of my favorite plays, A Midsummer Night's Dream.)
As always, the heroine is an original character native to this world. Her love is like a tree, quiet and unassuming, always there, watching over someone gently. No matter how the world changes, that tree remains. That's also why I didn't choose a picture of the main character for the cover, unlike in my previous stories.
