This is a short piece I wrote last year for the Wolves publication. At the time, I didn't know what to write. I only wanted to throw something together because I'd been asked to...
I'd already written fanfiction about the Quick-Change Gear twice, so I didn't want to write about him again. Then I thought of Cowboy, the man who left the deepest impression on me.
When I first read Wolves, his death affected me deeply. I even wondered how he could just die like that...
I thought he'd get back up after being shot. I thought the captain and the others would take him away. But a battlefield is a battlefield, and mercenaries would never take unnecessary action. In the end, he fell in the yellow sand and was forever buried by the sandstorm. No one paid him any attention, and no one came to collect his body.
He was an outstanding soldier, so I wrote this short story in his memory.
Theme:
As soon as I entered the trap, I was spoiled... Ahem I just entered the trap and I am still standing like a cowboy! ! ! TVT
