Painful Experiences in a Supernatural Crossover

Pain is a word people often dislike. But pain is an important part of being human. If people couldn't feel pain, could they still be considered human? There's a theory in psychology that pain is a sensation that can be controlled. If you truly believe that your injuries are no big deal, you won't feel the pain either. After one failed, or perhaps overly successful, session of self-hypnosis, Andy completely lost the ability to feel pain, and died as a result. People feel pain in order to avoid danger. Once they lose the ability to feel it, any danger can have fatal consequences. Perhaps it was this special trait that allowed Andy, after dying, to obtain a strange System and a brand-new life.
