Flowing Through the Wei River (Bleach | Byakuya | Original Female Lead, Serious Tone)

What kind of story can truly stir the soul?

Winter in Soul Society is beautiful.

Orihara Xiang was the first lunatic I met in Soul Society.

I want to tell a story about her and my captain, Toshiro Hitsugaya. It's not the kind of story that would make those gossipy girls swoon, with tears and blood streaming from their noses.

Because the books in the Great Spirit Library will never record a single word about the sacrifices and darkness behind glory.

But these histories, soon to vanish into smoke and dust, need someone to humbly beg that the truth be passed down to later generations, devoting an entire lifetime to it, all so that their names can be carved, honorably and openly, onto the monument they deserve.

People always have to learn, little by little, to say goodbye to one another.

"The Wei River Flows"

Toshiro Hitsugaya's 2013 birthday tribute

[Do not ask what happened in years past; the Wei River flows from the east of the old homeland.]

A few things to know before reading:

1. This story has no romantic pairing. The female lead is an original character, and the story follows the canon setting.

2. The style and story are quite different from the mainstream, so please read the extra first to avoid any discomfort.

3. You must read the extra first, or the overall experience will definitely suffer.
