I didn't even cry anymore. I really like this idea. But why can't Stanley make his wife live forever? Since she doesn't interact with outsiders and doesn't marry blood relatives, why should the only descendant be engaged to her cousin? If there is only one male protagonist, do the fathers in the portraits all have the same face?
Why mark it as completed? Is this just the beginning?
Is there a time traveler ancestor in this family?
