The story begins with a letter of divorce.
He is quick to compromise and longs for peace, while she is fiercely independent and intense.
Helpless,
contemptuous,
torn by conflict,
so, as expected, everything proceeds according to the plan set out in the divorce letter. It is only for a year, and the days will soon pass.
But it seems some things have changed along the way,
something taking root,
something called love.
When he finally sees clearly, he has already chased her a thousand miles.
Can he catch up? Is it too late? It all comes down to a rare moment of resolve.
This was an old abandoned draft... The new version starts from Chapter 10.
I rather like using the word “strange” to describe this story, because it is told mainly from the male lead's perspective. He isn't an outstanding man in the traditional sense; in fact, he really does fall short of the other male supporting characters in the story. He is gentle and kind, but indecisive and timid, at least for much of the novel. By contrast, the heroine's personality grows ever more vivid and forceful.
All in all, it's a strange story. Its point of view and perspective don't follow the usual path of romance novels; instead, it's told mainly through the eyes of a man, a timid man. When I first decided to write a male lead like this, I worried about it again and again, haha. If you can accept that, thank you for reading. If you can't, I can only hope that next time I'll write something you like, hehe.
This is a slow-paced story, with little romance or grand passion. There are no vows of eternal love or earth-shaking events, just people like us wavering amid conflict and hesitation before finally making a decision. No one is perfect, but as the story slowly unfolds, you can see the characters changing bit by bit.
Theme:
He is a very different male protagonist. If you like him, you will make the female protagonist fall in love with him because he is gentle, tolerant, considerate and kind. This is the warmth that the female protagonist has always lacked in her life before, so she fell in love with him unknowingly.
It's very interesting. In fact, I think it's easy for people to fall in love with the male protagonist's character if there are no big twists and turns.
Really good book. It is different from the Xiaoyan I have seen before. Thanks to the author.
I always feel that these people don't like to speak clearly. They only talk about one third of what they say. It's so tiring. It's also tiring to read.
Don't break your promise, I'm waiting for you to update Jiang Ling
It's not easy, it finally has a happy ending, ha... I like this ending.
Wow, big! Update "Jiang Ling" as soon as possible!! After waiting for so long, I can finally see hope. . . . .
Gaga, I like this ending
Sweat, it's finally complete, but I still regret that a few more years have passed.
Real????? Is the author going to update Jiang Ling????? I'm going to take a look outside. Is it going to rain red???????? Does the author hear our call? God!
