Dongfang Bubai: Ten Miles of Red Wedding Finery

Notice: I've gone back to updating every other day. Please let me change my backlog to 12 chapters owed. Updating one chapter at a time like this is more in keeping with this lousy author's pace [sobs] Everyone is welcome to leave comments. I swear on my life I will never abandon this story!!!!!! [If this gets locked, it's probably under review] Thanks to Knights Studio for providing the cover. O(∩_∩)O Thank you! Blurb: Ten miles of red bridal finery, the realm as my betrothal gift. Half a jade pendant, dark as ink; never part, never forsake. In the tenth year of Jian'an under the Lieliang dynasty, the lands are in turmoil and the winds of change are rising. A struggle for the throne, old grudges in the martial world: no amount of scheming can erase a lifetime of bitter hardship. With half a jade pendant as my brush, longing cuts to the bone. A realm dark as ink, and a pledge to stand by each other for a lifetime. A certain someone, returning to his own courtyard after a long absence, finds a "performer." If the fellow hadn't been easy enough on the eyes, he would have left him to perish in the snow. Dongfang Bubai: Mo, don't betray me. Su Rumo: Half a jade pendant, Rumo will give his heart to only one person in this life. Dongfang Bubai: Who? Su Rumo: Naturally, the one Rumo loves most. Dongfang Bubai: Don't play word games with me. Su Rumo: Half a jade pendant, it's late. Dongfang Bubai: ...Bastard. Su Rumo: Does this help you understand what Rumo means? Dongfang Bubai: Bastard... Mm... Proceed at your own risk: 1. Unwavering 1v1, Su Rumo x Dongfang Bubai. 2. Plot-driven. Their feelings grow little by little, in the smallest moments. There is love and hate, and plenty of doting. This lousy author calls it an unconventional indulgence fic! 3. Long, with lots of prose (and lots of rambling). Even a short sentence may be foreshadowing! 4. Slow updates! (This hits the lousy author's weak spot, but it's now confirmed to update every other day.) 5. 99% wuxia drama. The other 1% involves transmigration, rebirth, and the like!
