I long to be a woman with bright eyes and a radiant smile, passionate as fire, dressed in a red gown, smiling more brilliantly than the sun, like a rose with thorns.
I also long to be a woman who keeps her cool, does as she pleases, cuts her hair short, and breezes in and out of a crowd, always the most unique one there.
But reality is so cruel. I became a complete piece of work, just as everyone expected.
Please note: 1. This story is a slow burn. The author writes on a phone, so updates are irregular.
2. The author's thought process is unusual.
Back in high school, I also loved reading e-books. Nestled under the covers in the middle of the night. Youth. Vision. Gone never to return.
