"Remember, your life has always belonged to him. He is your everything, your one and only world."
"Stay with him. Always be by his side."
When Qi was brought before Chu Xuan, his "father" told him this.
Chu Xuan: "Was I... crying? Is this what crying feels like? And these tears..."
Faced with the choice between staying by his side and keeping him alive, Qi ultimately chose the latter. Qi had always lived for Chu Xuan.
Ichihara Yuuko: "From now on, you must live for yourself. From this day forward, you are Kunimitsu Tezuka... Go and find a new world."
During the final battle, Qi took a fatal blow meant for the Colonel. After dying, he transmigrated as Kunimitsu Tezuka, then traveled through different worlds. At last, he found happiness of his own.
