Department of Paranormal Affairs

Luodu has a Department for Handling Abnormal Incidents, also known as the Abnormal Incident Committee Office.

A young supervisor was recently parachuted in.

Notice:

Since everyone has been drooling over Director Luo lately, we're issuing a special announcement today:

The boss says she's not edible.

April 1, 2077, Abnormal Incident Committee Administration Department

The boss doesn't celebrate April Fools' Day.

"My name is Luo Miaomiao, and I'm freaking out."

"I recently got promoted and parachuted in to lead a department. Then I discovered that everyone here can exorcise demons, capture spirits and ghosts, know everything from astronomy to geography, and use metaphysics to read feng shui... They might even be able to predict winning lottery numbers."

"And me..."

I have a bachelor's degree. Is passing CET-6 in English even an asset?

Please note before reading: This is a writing exercise, and my first serious attempt at writing a sweet romance.

I'm trying to write a growth-oriented heroine who doesn't turn evil, and this time I'm trying to make the plot feel less depressing.

The heroine starts out as an ordinary person (probably).

A timid, obedient heroine x a gentle hero, the classic pairing.

Every danger in the world comes for the heroine. Her only redeeming quality is that she knows her own limitations.
