After the gambler Fu Gu loses his soul in a casino bet to the Underworld ferryman, Fuzi, he is forced to serve him without question. Every order from the ferryman brings the gambler one step closer to death. The third eye of the madman Yan Yi, the undying ghost doctor Chun Qiuzhan, the priest Zou Lingling, the ghost-book seal keeper Qiu Wuyu, detective Yuan Lixuan, the immortal Ben Hualun, and others all make their entrances in a great escape. Can the gambler, now among the living dead, buy back his soul? And how will the ferryman toy with the slave in his hands? Welcome to Season One of Ghost Errand: Whispers of the Dead.
