Roland was an ordinary flower seller in an ordinary city.
She sold flowers every day and let the neighbors tease her, and she was quite content with her life.
Until one day, she saw a red-haired gentleman walk up and buy every flower she had.
The man narrowed his eyes and studied her for a while, then walked off humming a strange tune. The next day and the day after that, he came back and bought all her flowers again.
When the other men in town picked a fight with him, including the muscular man over two meters tall who had pursued her for ages, Roland watched them walk off somewhere she couldn't see.
And then? Then only that man came back, and he gave her a playing card.
She touched her face.
Could it be that this man had just flirted with her?
