Past the Gates of Hell lies the Road to the Underworld. Can you see the Bridge of Helplessness at the end of the road?
A woman named Meng Po stands there, handing a bowl of Meng Po's soup to everyone who passes by.
Meng Po said, "Girl, drink this and you'll forget every bond from your life in this world."
"I beg you, surely there's some way to let me see him?" the girl pleaded with Meng Po.
Meng Po said, "Are you sure? I do have a way to help you, but you'll have to endure a thousand years of drowning and scorching fire before you can be reincarnated and share a lifetime of love with him. Are you willing?"
"Yes!" the girl answered solemnly, without the slightest hesitation.
"Li Riyou, where have you been all these years?
I've been waiting here for you for so, so, so long," the girl said to him with a radiant smile.
