There are two things Qing Xiaosheng hates most in the world.
The white lotus girl, and her own booming voice.
The first cry she let out at birth could shake heaven and earth, yet her parents still named her Qing Xiaosheng.
Qing Xiaosheng sounds like "please speak softly," so whenever she opens her mouth, people tell her, "Please speak softly, please speak softly." It leaves her mortified.
All in all, this is the story of how a loud-voiced heroine takes down a white lotus girl and wins the male lead's heart.
