Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality

I finally gathered the courage to try translating this novel myself. Ever since I read the first dozen or so chapters of another author's translation of Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality, I had been hoping every day for a complete translation. Unfortunately, that translator never finished it and abandoned the project. After being stuck waiting for ages and finding nothing else to read, I decided to translate this novel myself. Then my procrastination got the better of me, and it took ages before I finished the first chapter. They say the best cure for procrastination is to just get started, so I finally worked up the nerve to post the first chapter on Jinjiang. I have no translation experience, my English is pretty terrible, and I haven't looked up the exact definitions of most of the words in a dictionary, so there may be lots of mistakes, and the translation may be awful. Please be prepared, and feel free to point out problems and help me edit it. PS: I shamelessly used the previous translator's names for the characters, since I didn't think there was any need to translate them differently. PS again: There are 98 chapters in total.
