This story is mainly about life in an online game, with real life as a secondary focus. The first half is mostly about the game.

Gu Xuanzhi is a top-tier assassin in the Lingying organization. He loves online games and spends nearly all his time gaming unless he has a mission. In the game, he meets an interesting person named Yan Qian. Both are equally obsessed with gaming, but they enter Deathwing with different personalities and habits. As the game progresses, they increasingly realize that this cannot really be called a game. This so-called "game," Deathwing, seems to be calculating something, selecting something. Having fallen into the grand game called Deathwing, what should Gu Xuanzhi and Yan Qian do? Should they advance or retreat? Where should they go from here?

The first climax of this story should come around Chapters 25 to 28, when Gu Xuanzhi begins to suspect and question the game. At first, I planned to finish this novel by following the usual conventions of online-game stories. But I don't like clichéd plots that never change. By the middle of the story, it should no longer really qualify as an online-game novel. It takes on more of a suspenseful tone. I hope some of you will still enjoy it and come back to support it. Also, some readers have said there are parts they don't understand. I've reflected on that and reread all the earlier chapters carefully. I really do have a lot to improve, and perhaps that's why so few people have paid attention to the story now that it's reached Chapter 28. I'll keep making friends and try to get more people to enjoy this story ^^.
