Stand by Me [Slam Dunk]

I'm glad Slam Dunk was part of my youth. Even though I can barely remember my own youth, I can always remember SD. This is a slow, steady story about feelings, about Ryonan and Sendoh. Everyone will act in keeping with their character, and the story will follow the course of the original manga. I wrote this story out of personal attachment. I like to think Sendoh is lonely, despite how calm and detached he seems, so unlike someone his age. That's why I wrote this story about someone who can be by Sendoh's side, keeping him company as he quietly and calmly makes his way through this extraordinary time, full of passion and dreams. Maybe most people struggle between loneliness and happiness in their youth. They seem calm on the surface, while a hidden tide stirs within. There are small, quiet hopes, just like the title says: Stand by Me.
