This is a story that begins with a web of deception and ends with an understanding of freedom.
This is a story about the confusing truths of life and death, the gains and losses of love and hatred, and the price of freedom.
This is a story of inner journeys, told through contrasting lives: the living come to understanding as they watch the dead, and the dead become one with the living and are reborn.
Yu the Great tamed the floods, his everlasting achievement etched into stone for the ages.
Yet all the joys and sorrows, all the twists and turns along the way, have long since faded like the wind and clouds.
Still, what passes away is as precious as what remains.
Each simply finds its own resting place.
Pour yourself a pot of green tea and listen as I slowly lift the veil from years long buried…
Beauty in face and form
Beauty’s intoxicating charm, beauty’s allure, beauty’s downfall, beauty’s salvation
How many illusions lie within beauty?
How much radiance dwells in human nature?
Wind, sun, water, moon
What kind of resonance? What kind of entanglement?
What kind of cycle? What kind of legend?
If you’re interested, come on in.
I write stories of beauty, and my pen follows the hearts of the characters.
If they think it’s pale, then pale it is; if they think it’s rich, then rich it is.
If they think it’s real, then real it is; if they think it’s false, then false it is.
If they think it’s bewildering, then bewildering it is; if they think it’s clear, then clear it is.
There will be no narration or explanations. My thoughts are growing clearer and clearer.
The story is told in flashback, but from “The Seven-Colored Garment Without Color” onward, it proceeds chronologically. To sum up the events of the next few chapters: Shui’er dances in a fit of anger, causing the floods to rage. Yu’s father, Gun, fails to control the waters and is executed. Yu takes over his father’s task of taming the floods, and then… Haha, you get the idea.
Chapters one and two aren’t there for nothing, either. The story will come back to them and explain things in due course.
As for the short chapters, I’m not deliberately cutting corners. My idea is to make every chapter a beautiful painting, full of light and shadow, sound and color, people and feeling, whether richly vivid like an oil painting or airy and flowing like ink wash.
Of course, that’s just the idea. I may not have the skill to pull it off, but I’ll do my best.
“Wind Bewitched by the Moon” is the final destination, but not the ending.
I hope you’ll enjoy it. Your encouragement is what motivates me to write.
Thank you!
Juan Juan

I can see you in the updated place every day. Such a hard-working little Junjuan, how about digging a new hole for us to chase? ^_^ I'm just promoting the article I just published, because I don't want to write a long review or introduction for myself, so please bear with me. What's new? We're still celebrating the New Year^^

The characters are vivid and thought-provoking, but a novel is a novel after all, and a story is just a story after all. Isn't it too tiring to live like this? The so-called reality you want is just another story, another way of being a human being. How long can life last? Instead of torturing yourself for vague ideals, it is better to grasp the happiness in front of you. There is no such thing as perfection in this world. It's just self-deception in reality. If I say what I say before I die, it will not be that I have fully understood something, but that I have lived it and am happy. Maybe everyone has different ways of living. What I want is just this worldly happiness.
What a willful person, what a willful article, I have collected it, half of it is a beautiful article for adults, and the other half is for Scarlett, Catherine, and Anna.
Yes, I agree that it is very confusing, and this article seems quite good. . . . So cool. . . . Can I say that, haha
Give you a full 10 points! Although you said there is no rhyme or anything, I still think it is as beautiful as poetry. There is also the philosophy revealed in the article, which made me think while reading the article. I really like this kind of article that can make people think. While following the text, watching the characters' thoughts change, it felt like I was growing along with it. At first I didn't like Yue very much and thought she was weak, but then I started to like her more and more when I saw her changes. I even thought she was more dazzling than water (just my own feeling). As for water, I feel like I can't see through it. It's really like water, you can see it and feel it, but it slips away as soon as you grab it. As for the two male protagonists, just one sentence, which is a pity. The pursuit of the text for so long is finally over, and I am still a little reluctant to let it go. Sir, I don't mind if you open two pits for Wanhu and Queen Changsun at the same time. With your diligence, you should have no problem filling both pits at the same time.
I must write and I will wait.
