The World Has Changed, but Qingyan Remains (Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Saber / Jian Wang 3)

If you wish to study medicine under me, take this vow: As a physician, I must calm my mind and focus my will, free from desire. I must first cultivate a great, compassionate heart, and strive to relieve the suffering of all living beings. When the sick and afflicted seek help, I must not ask whether they are noble or poor, young or old, beautiful or ugly, friend or foe, Chinese or foreign, wise or foolish. I must regard them all equally, as though they were my own family. I must not hesitate or worry about my own fortune or misfortune, nor cling to my life. When I see their suffering, I must feel as if it were my own, and be deeply moved. I must not avoid danger or hardship, day or night, cold or heat, hunger or thirst, or exhaustion. I must devote myself to saving them, without concern for appearances or recognition. Can you abide by this? I am willing to practice medicine under my master's guidance and save the people! Pairing: Pei Yuan x Ama-ro (they may switch roles). Pei Luo fans can head straight out the door to the left, unless you can accept Pei Luo appearing only in memories as part of the past. PS: When my hair reaches my waist, will you marry me, Senior Brother? PPS: Senior Brother, please marry me! Otherwise, I can marry you, too! (The author said this, so please don't pin it on Ama-ro. If that causes OOC, the author takes no responsibility.)
