Prologue-
It was a dark and windy night~
Mrs. An was about to give birth, and by coincidence, their next-door neighbor, Mrs. He, was due to give birth too~
Now, Mrs. An and Mrs. He had never known each other before, but since they lived next door and had gotten pregnant around the same time, the two women formed a deep bond. They spent the whole ten months of pregnancy together, discussing baby clothes, whether they would have boys or girls, and so on.
Today was May 31, and tomorrow was Children's Day. The two families were having hot pot at the An home to celebrate! Poor Old An and Old He had to usher the two empress dowagers onto the sofa and make sure they were comfortable before rushing around to get everything ready.
At last, after they finished eating at 8:30, Mrs. He and Mrs. An were chatting as usual about the little ones in their bellies when Mrs. An began having contractions. Old An was frantic.
He grabbed the bedding and other things he had prepared in advance and drove straight to the hospital. Just as they were about to leave, Mrs. He went into labor too. Well, if they're taking one, they can take two!
Both families hurried off to the hospital.
At 10:30, two babies cried out in one of the maternity rooms at the affiliated hospital. One boy and one girl, perfect! Old He and Old An simultaneously shed tears of misery. Oh, you two little tyrants!
