As a tomboy, A Zao is under a lot of pressure.
When other girls run into zombies, werewolves, or vampires, all they have to do is gasp in horror a few times before a mighty, handsome male lead rushes in to save the damsel in distress, or they can simply embark on an epic cross-species romance.
But A Zao has to grab a rifle and a machete and fight her way through monsters just to make it home alive.
Digging up graves, destroying corpses, helping the dead move on, and scavenging for supplies among the dead are all essential skills for surviving in another world.

In short, this is the story of a poor girl whose father dumps her in one strange dimension after another, while giving her a tomboy makeover along the way.
