A devoted fan of the manga Daughter of the Nile finds herself, by chance? (Though in truth, it was inevitable) transported back 3,000 years to ancient Egypt, to the age of Manfred and Carol. Following the events of the manga, she will accompany Carol, the Daughter of the Nile, step by step in the name of a handmaiden to the goddess of the Nile, helping her create those beautiful and moving legends. (Most of this story fills in gaps in Chieko Hosokawa's manga; a small part is my own imagining.)
Note: In the manga, Carol travels back from the twentieth century, while Amy comes from the twenty-first. For convenience, I have made them both travelers from the twenty-first century.
I usually upload a new story while also revising a few awkward parts of my older ones. So if you sometimes see an update that seems to be an old chapter you've already read, please don't misunderstand. Just open the full table of contents and you'll definitely find the new chapter. (Of course, this doesn't include Jinjiang's occasional glitches.)
Many thanks to Gui Su for kindly providing the group number, 37448915. Drop in and chat when you have time. I might even sneak in under a secret identity to join the conversation!
P.S. I don't care about the score, only how many replies I get. If you support this story, please leave lots of comments! Your replies are what keep me writing.
The first part of The Legend of the Daughter of the Nile's Quest ends here. Once again, thank you to everyone who has followed the story, and thank you for your unwavering encouragement and support. If you hadn't been urging me on and keeping me in your thoughts, I would have given up long ago.
Starting today, daily updates are over. I'm tentatively taking a week off to organize my work. A week from now, I'll announce the update date and schedule for Part Two here. I hope you'll continue to support the story then. Thank you.
How Could I Bear to Leave, early morning, February 18, 2008
A week has passed, and I'm sorry to have to tell everyone that the new year's workload really is heavy. I've been so busy that I haven't had time to write, so please wait a little longer. I'm also trying to build up a stock of chapters, and hope to start Part Two in March. (o(∩_∩)o... Sorry, everyone. You can save it to your collection for now and wait until there are plenty of chapters before reading.)

Part Two is now underway. Here's the link:

Premise:
When I read the comics, I thought Hassan was pretty good.
Random moves, who is Aimee? There is no such person in Nili. It is written randomly and it is ugly.
Support the prince and the heroine...
It's really well written~
Great Come on, update it!!!
A well-written history of the queen's growth. Except for the first few chapters, the heroine was too weakly written and the potential of the queen was not seen. Speaking of which, I was fascinated by "Ni" for a while when I was in elementary school when comic resources were relatively scarce. Unfortunately, when I finally recalled it, I really felt that the heroine was naive, and I was speechless that the manga was still unfinished until Auntie Hosokawa died. So I really hope that the author will not give up on the second part. Did the author also wear it? What's the matter with no news for more than a year?
Why is the lower part so small?
The lower part is also too slow
Update the lower part soon. Thank you, Sahua~
It's been a long time since I updated, I'm so sad!
