Waiting Is My Deepest Obsession

Author's note: This is a story that suddenly came to me. I was lying in bed, moved to tears by it.

Deng Yiming and Su Mo were classmates in high school and university. They started dating in their sophomore year of college. At last, on graduation day, Deng Yiming proposed, Su Mo accepted, and the two were married. This is a very heartwarming story.

Their married life was short. Su Mo became a devoted wife, taking care of everything at home while her husband pursued his career. She supported him from behind the scenes.

When he finally achieved success and fame, everything began to change.

Everything was taken for granted. The more intimate and seemingly insignificant something was, the more it was taken for granted. Only when it was all gone did the heartbreak slowly become an all-consuming pain.

"A Mo, honey, I'm home." But all that answered him was a lifetime of desolation. He missed her so much.
