Hibiscus flowers are nostalgic, and so are all the young people who have endured the pains of youth. They are always looking back at those days filled with betrayal and despair. Jian Xi is no different, and neither is anyone else in this story. Whenever they think of the scars of the past, their hearts ache, and they feel like crying as they fall back into that bottomless, lightless abyss they once knew. The past is not something one can look back on without pain, because remembering it makes everyone relive the feeling of falling.
