I thought of writing this after seeing the line, "People entrust themselves to the years, planting cypress trees across the countryside." Perhaps in the world of ninjas, most people are destined for tragic endings. Their lives are so short, yet feel so long because they've been through so much. Yesterday they were young and green, and today they're already withered. Time hasn't made them old; they've grown old on their own. But who they grow old for is the most important thing in days without anything to look forward to.
Although this beginning is dynamic, it's not exciting enough (maybe I'm numb O_o). Maybe it's because there's not much information about the protagonist, so I'm not very interested? What can I say, it just feels like another journey through the dark life of a kunoichi?
