(Sherlock) An Incredible Casebook

Pairing: Watson-centric, primarily HW Rating: Clean Synopsis: Sherlock Holmes has a dormant family bloodline flowing through him, yet remains one of the ordinary humans he despises. He knows that beings beyond the realm of science exist in this world. He knows that his fated enemy, the British government, also controls another dark kingdom. He knows that the ancestor of the Scottish detective he finds surprisingly tolerable, and not quite so stupid, was an exorcist. He even knows that the insufferable idiot, the pathologist who always makes a mess of things, is a low-ranking vampire. But he doesn’t know that his doctor and blogger, his flatmate and the person he secretly loves, John Watson, isn’t human either. Possible warnings: The characters are generally younger than in canon, in their early adult years, having only just come of age. The story doesn’t follow the original plot, and the characters meet later or earlier than they do in canon. Some inevitable OOC. The doctor wears glasses and hasn’t served in the military. The doctor is adopted, and his sister Harriet is a successful, powerful human woman in the fashion industry, as well as a devoted big sister who dotes on her younger brother. May involve emotional perception, paranormal events, spirits and souls, ghost stories, and the like. Thanks to [Rare Pomelo] GN for the wonderful idea! This story wouldn’t exist without her brilliant concepts. And although I really, really want to have A Hua, Johnny belongs to everyone who loves him! Also, I accidentally started three new stories at once recently and can barely keep up with this one, ORZ… Updates may not be very punctual. Please forgive me if my procrastination kicks in again, or give me a good scolding. I’m really sorry. *Bows.* August 21, 2013 Theme: Nonhumans can pursue love, too.
