Ghostly Casebook

People often say: The Way of Heaven is constant. It does not endure for Yao, nor perish for Jie. I never understood that before, but fortunately, I understand it now, and it is not too late. Over the years, I have learned that everything in this world exists for a reason and follows its own laws. Sometimes, we must approach all things with reverence, observe them closely, and judge them with kindness. I believe these nine years have been the most extraordinary, most perilous, and most otherworldly experience of my life. I am writing this journal here in the hope that those who come after me will find it. When I finish, I will leave. I don't know where I will go, what I will do there, or whether I will ever return. I only hope that whoever finds this book someday will be able to get some help from it. This novel is based on true events. A few important notes from the author: 1. This story has no romantic pairing and focuses on the plot. I have no chapters stockpiled, and can only write when I see comments in the middle of the night, but I am very reliable about finishing what I start. 2. Feel free to join the group chat and talk. You can tell me your stories too, and get firsthand updates on when I'm taking a break, er, when the next chapters are coming. The password can be any character's name. 3. Feel free to leave longer comments when you have time. If yours is over 25 characters, Shiniang will make you noodle soup, no, give you reward points. 4. Do not casually try any of the methods mentioned in this story, such as summoning spirits, exorcising ghosts, or trapping souls. The author accepts no responsibility for any consequences. 5. Reposting or reuploading is prohibited. Please support the official version. Noticeboard: Author updates: I'll try to post more often when I'm not busy.
