Fallen Plum Blossoms

Buddha says that five hundred glances in a past life are what it takes to pass each other by in this one.

Steadiness is the defining quality of Xiao Kexing's life.

But he never imagined that, in the best years of his life, he would meet a girl like her.

She was mischievous. He had never met a girl so mischievous.

She was clingy, so clingy that he wanted to give her a good smack just to let off steam.

But she could be adorable, too. She loved following him around, chattering away like a sparrow that never got tired.

The cold wind stirred, a faint fragrance drifted through the air, and the plum blossoms held a trace of tart sweetness.

That was their beautiful encounter.

They thought it would last forever, but in the end, they could not escape the constraints of fate.

That day, the red plum blossoms fell away, turning into rain and mist.
