It's wrong to look at it in a satellite photo and think it's a prison.
The walls are so high that little birds can't fly over them to find their mothers. Like the walls around nearly every school in the supposedly 9.6-million-square-kilometer land, they're ugly. The walls have always been stupidly made to look like old straw hats, worn for years and stained with grime, the kind even dogs would go out of their way to avoid. Even the most dazzling, vain flowers planted beside them can't last half an hour before they willingly wither, lamenting their bad luck at growing in the wrong place.
I would like to remind my reading friends that the books I always write are bland and unremarkable. There are no plots like that inside, so please enter with caution.
