Reformatting and Reinstalling the System, Starting with a Hug from Behind in Episode 14

Starting from episode 13 of the 2013 version of Itazura na Kiss, I rewrote things according to what I enjoy. The story mainly draws on the original manga and the plot of the 2013 adaptation. Since Naoki's feelings for Kotoko are very clear in the 2013 version, I've expanded on Naoki's inner conflict before the arranged marriage, Kotoko's resolve and anguish, and incorporated the foot-burning scene from the original manga. I've also added support from Yuki and Irie’s mother. I was stunned by the drama's Naoki and Sahoko getting engaged and exchanging betrothal gifts, so I moved the rainy-night kiss to before the formal engagement, toned down Naoki's jerkishness, and filled out Sahoko's subplot. The 2013 version of Itazura na Kiss was god-tier in its first five episodes, but its ending in the last few episodes left me incredibly disappointed. So I decided to combine it with the original manga and manually add more angst, dramatic conflict, and sweet moments to the final three episodes. The characters stay true to the 2013 version, though some plot points and dialogue have been adapted, with a few original scenes added. My writing is rough; I just wanted to complete the story and have no regrets. I'd be even happier if someone else can relate. Theme:
