[The King's Avatar/Ye Xiu X Lan He] Calm the Waves

A The King's Avatar fanfic pairing Ye Xiu x Lan He. It was titled "Through the Woods, Beating the Leaves" in the tenth server. They're both the same story. An alternate-world wuxia setting, telling the story of the great villain Ye Xiu and the young hero Lan He. Don't mind the sound of rain beating through the trees and leaves. Why not hum a tune and stroll at your own pace? A bamboo staff and straw sandals are lighter than a horse. Who's afraid? Let me live my life in a rain cape through wind and rain. The chilly spring breeze sobers me from wine, leaving me a little cold, but the slanting sunlight on the mountain greets me. I look back at the desolate road I came by. I return home, where there is neither storm nor sunshine.
