To show how determined I am to revise this story, I've rewritten the blurb even though I haven't changed the title.
Do you think the end of the world is far away? Disasters are happening more and more often around the globe. Our family and friends grow old and die, and more and more people are getting cancer. We always think it is far away, but in truth, it is close.
For humanity, the extinction of our species is the end of the world. But to the world itself, no matter what devastation it suffers, it is never the end. Our own end could arrive at any moment. For Xu Ling, the end of her world has already come.
Have you heard of the Children of Madness? This is an ancient legend that isn't told in our world. It is said that a "disease" caused by the "Madness Factor" exists. In a certain world, this disease can be predicted in advance, but no one knows when it will break out. Among those who carry this factor, one will eventually destroy the world.
The entire story is undergoing a major revision. Please be patient. This story has been sitting unfinished since 2013, and three years have passed. I started it in July 2013 (you should still be able to see the date next to the title in my works on Jinjiang). Although the outline hasn't changed after all this time, I need to revise a lot of things. I love going into the details of the setting, so my stories can end up with very little dialogue and long stretches explaining the worldbuilding. I still haven't managed to fix this after all these years on Jinjiang. Maybe it's because I don't spend much time writing novels. But I'll keep trying.
Come on, author, Prisgoon
The heroine... I saw a real drama in the text of the non-book and drama.
Can you stop adding parentheses to a large paragraph of text? It looks confusing, and some parentheses feel unnecessary. The supplementary content can be connected to the original text, or it can be divided into more paragraphs.
The heroine actually has the same name as me... Is this a blessing or a tragedy?
What's that? Remember to write down Jinjiang's pen name in the remarks, dear.
