Synopsis
A fanfic of The Ravages of Time, featuring the pairings San-Si, Jiu-Shi, Cang-Xuan, and others.
K is still the mastermind behind everything, and Xuan Yue is still a good older brother, except now he's Si Yue's biological brother. Characters from the Dark Moon group are also included. I hope I can write a big, happy ending for everyone. This story mainly focuses on Si Yue.
Here come the spoilers
San-Si:
They say drinking causes trouble, and they were right. Yesterday, for the first time in nearly eighteen years, I got drunk, and then someone took advantage of me. The other person was someone I'd brought home yesterday, too. Thinking about last night, she cursed under her breath, then reached over to pick up her clothes from the sofa and put them on.
She made quite a racket, and San Yue, lying beside her, woke up.
A pool of red blood lay on the white marble. San Yue frowned.
"I..." His tone made it clear how conflicted he was. Well, it was her first time, after all. He felt a little guilty that it had happened so inexplicably. No, that she'd been taken like that.
"Are you a virgin?" Si Yue sneered.
"..."
Seeing his reaction, she understood. "Then do you have AIDS?"
"Of course not!"
"If you're not a virgin and you don't have AIDS, what are you getting all worked up about? You're dithering like an underage girl. Are you even a man?" Si Yue stood up in disdain.
Damn it, are you acting like a woman?! Is that something an underage girl should say?!
San Yue only muttered to himself, so he didn't notice that Si Yue wasn't acting as she had a moment ago. Her whole body was trembling, and from her expression, she looked terrified. Right now, she could think of only three words: I'm! So! Dead!
Jiu-Shi:
The summer sun was fierce, even in the morning. Jiu Yue's parasol tilted into the sunlight, reflecting golden rays. She strolled beneath the shade of the trees, her cat curled lazily in her arms. Looking at Xiao Nao, Jiu Yue smiled without thinking, a faint bitterness in her expression. Ever since losing her memory, this had been her most common expression: happy, yet bitter.
Suddenly, she felt someone staring at her. The gaze was like the sunlight, no, even more scorching, as if it could melt her. She turned around, and her eyes met those of a silver-haired man.
For some reason, though that gaze felt unfamiliar, the man in front of her seemed strangely familiar. She couldn't help wanting to approach him, yet also wanting to run away.
After a moment's hesitation, she slowly stepped backward, while the man came closer one step at a time. He was definitely looking at her. She wanted to ask, "Sir, do you know me?"
The silver-haired man was clearly Shi Yue.
Jiu Yue would never know how overwhelmed Shi Yue had felt when he saw her from behind, or how his emotions had nearly burst forth when he saw her face. The feeling was so intense it seemed ready to consume him.
Shi Yue looked at her and said, "They all say that after I lost my memory, I became more and more ruthless, as if my heart had been lost along with my memories. I don't know who stole my memories, but the moment I saw you, I knew you'd taken my heart. I'm telling you, I want you. You can never escape me in this life. I always get the woman I want, whether she goes to hell or to heaven. You can only be with me."
Shi Yue spoke with a face as cold as frost. Jiu Yue thought she should be afraid to hear something like that, but instead, her heart fluttered. Oh no, oh no. Not only had she lost her memory, she'd hit her head and gone stupid, too!
Cang-Xuan:
Xuan Yue stepped in front of Si Yue, while Cang Yue's gun was pointed straight at his chest.
"Move!" Cang Yue's voice was full of cruelty.
"When Si Yue was born, I swore that I would never let anyone hurt her. If anyone did hurt her, or even tried to, I'd make sure they wished they were dead!" Xuan Yue said firmly.
"What if I'm the one who wants to kill her?" Cang Yue sneered, clicking off the safety. "Would you kill me?"
"There are only two people in this world I would never lay a hand on. One is my younger sister, and the other is you."
"I'm going to kill her!" Cang Yue shouted. "Move!"
"Never!"
"Then... then don't blame me for what happens!" Cang Yue's voice trembled. She didn't know why. It was as if she'd made up her mind about something. She clenched her left hand.
"From the moment we met, I fell in love at first sight."
"Bang, "
"Brother!, "
Three different voices cried out at the same time.
Cang Yue stood there in a daze. All she heard was what Xuan Yue said just before he fell: "From the moment we met, I fell in love at first sight."
Cang Yue dropped the gun and stumbled backward, devastated, before collapsing to the ground.
Si Yue took out her phone and called Jiu. "Jiu, get an ambulance!"
Cang Yue sat there, staring blankly at the place where he had been shot. Her mind was in chaos; she had no idea what to do. She didn't like him. She didn't, didn't, didn't! There had been so many women around him. How could she possibly like him? But why did her heart hurt so much?
"No, you can't die!" Cang Yue finally blurted out.
Si Yue looked at her. "He won't die! He'll come back to collect compensation from you. Alive." Then she ran off with Jiu.
Much later, Cang Yue opened her eyes and saw Liu Xing. She didn't know what had happened after that. She only knew her heart hurt, so very, very much. The thing she feared most had finally happened.
