[Wuxia & Mythology] Can This Fated Trial Be Escaped?

Blurb: In the late Northern Song, the ruler was incompetent and the court was in chaos. Traitors such as Cai Jing held the government in their grasp, and the people suffered. Outside the realm, the Liao and Jin watched like hungry tigers, bent on ruling the world. Within it, martial factions waited for their chance to rise. Heroes gathered in the capital, intent on controlling the court and turning the tides of power. Gradually, the Six and a Half Halls, the Golden Wind and Drizzle Tower, and the Seven Sages of the Bewildering Heavens emerged as three rival powers. Other factions, including the Cloud-Linking Stronghold, the Lei Family Manor, and the City of Broken Promises, controlled the northwest, while imperial authority grew weaker and weaker... And unbeknownst to mortals, gods, ghosts, immortals, and demons had also grown restless. War raged endlessly in the mortal world. The Heavenly Court was beginning its reforms, yet the greatest god of war in the Three Realms had vanished without a trace. The Chan School broke its oath, the Northern Sea was sealed, and myriad demons emerged. The winds of change... rose once more. P.S. The above has basically nothing to do with the main story. P.P.S. Although this story has two protagonists, they are just friends, and each has their own CP! Gu Zhui is endgame, and Yang Qing'an's CP is also a well-known character in the world of Wen Shu.
