How to Make a Hero Who Smashes Idols Pay Up

As the title says, this is a problem that has troubled the gods for many years. After the girl destined to become a hero learned to speak and run, she revealed herself to be exceptionally gifted, just as one would expect of the Chosen One. She could quickly master any skill. At the same time, though, signs of a very bad habit began to emerge. She liked smashing statues of the gods. The first time she had to eat carrots, she burst into tears and accidentally smashed a statue of the God of Light. Then she laughed at the rubble, and there was no stopping her after that. Burn something while testing out a recipe? Smash a statue. Kick a rock? Smash a statue. In a bad mood? Smash a statue. Got something tasty? Smash a statue. Made a new friend? Smash a statue. Whatever the reason, she had to smash a statue. After carefully checking that she showed no signs of being corrupted by darkness, even the gods had no choice but to accept the fact that "this was simply a hobby she'd picked up later in life." Honestly, if she weren't the divinely chosen hero destined to completely destroy the God of Darkness, the gods would have beaten her to death long ago. While the gods met every so often to discuss how they would seek compensation from the hero for all the faith they'd wasted on repairing her damaged statues once she had finally destroyed the God of Darkness, the hero... showed up on their doorstep. Shan Wen: I'm sick of smashing statues all the time. I want to fight a real god for a change. I just heard someone wanted to ask me for compensation, didn't I? Come on, come say it to my face.
