Falling Cherry Blossoms

The cherry blossoms bloom as if on purpose for ten days. Who would begrudge circling the flowers a thousand times a day?

Yesterday, wind and rain brought calamity. Who can plead this sorrow to heaven and earth?

I cannot bear to see these lovely bones buried in foreign sand. Do not let your tears fall into a deep cup.

Let those with tender hearts remember in years to come. This inch of springtime feeling has long since turned to ash.
