Hey, Hand Over the Boss!

Because of some real-life circumstances, updates to Boss stopped for quite a long time. Those matters still aren't settled, and they'll probably affect future updates, so Zui has decided to split Boss into two parts. The first volume is finished, so that counts as the end of Part One. Zui will start Part Two in a bit. I don't plan to publish it chapter by chapter; I'll write the whole thing first and save it up, so you won't see updates for a while. But don't worry, I'll write it as quickly as I can. I absolutely won't abandon it, I promise! Qiu Luo is a writer, a god-tier author who's pretty good at writing power-up stories. It's just that... he has a rather unusual habit of putting his protagonists through hell in the early chapters. And then, one day, cursed by the resentment of his protagonists... he got what was coming to him. Plane Game Development Team: [Ding! In the game Ultimate Heartbreak, the player will become the protagonist of every story written by authors from the Ten Worlds.] Plane Game Development Team: [Ding! The player's main quest is to experience the series of hardships the protagonist must endure in the early chapters. The player may proceed to the next stage only when the hardship meter is full.] Plane Game Development Team: [We wish the player an enjoyable game!] Qiu Luo: What? I'm supposed to be the protagonist in this game? I have to fill the hardship meter to clear it? And I can only go home after clearing it? Screw you! Ahem, I've started a group chat...
