Transmigrating to a Successful Official Career

Plot: A young woman transmigrates into the body of a county magistrate who disguises herself as a man. At her right hand is a handsome aide, and at her left is a loyal guard, skilled in martial arts and of mysterious origins. There are plenty of people to watch out for, including her superior, who is always looking for ways to bleed the people dry. And there are unscrupulous merchants who keep running illegal businesses right under the magistrate's nose. There's plenty to worry about: she has to work for the people's welfare and deal with the bandits outside the county seat. Isn't there a saying? If you don't serve the people as an official, you might as well go home and sell sweet potatoes. The heroine is working hard toward that goal! One-sentence summary: A junior office worker transmigrates into the head of a county and pours heart and soul into serving the public. Don't be fooled by the blurb. This is just a light romance dressed up as an officialdom struggle story, with about equal parts political maneuvering and romance! The heroine has admirers flocking around her. I have chapters in reserve and an outline, so don't worry, ladies. If you only like pure political intrigue, feel free to move along. P.S. The author is a chatterbox, so if you can't stand chatterboxes, move along! Also, the author is getting on in years and likes to ramble, so you know what to expect. If you can put up with all that, go ahead and add me to your favorites! P.P.S. The author is a slow starter. The male lead and others won't fall for the heroine at first sight, so if you like this kind of story, please stick with me! Also, this story is set in a fictional world, so don't take it too seriously! For a variety of reasons, this story can't be updated for the time being!
