The Salted Fish Girl

Blurb: After a family battle, our heroine was given the rather literary name Ding Xianyu. Considering that her father held a position of great power and her mother was no longer young and beautiful, Ding Xianyu suggested that her mother keep an eye on her father to make sure he did not take a concubine. Then her beautiful, delicate mother smashed the solid-wood table beside her with one punch and said ominously, "Let him try." Ding Xianyu quickly shook her head. The onlookers from all walks of life, apparently including the emperor, court officials, and the people of the capital, said, "Who'd want a guy like him?" Ding Xianyu thought it over, then nodded solemnly. They were right. When they said he looked like a bear, they weren't insulting him ( -_-+ ). He really did look just like one. In this elegant dynasty, people prized pale skin, slender figures, refinement, gentleness, and... In a world with such exacting standards of beauty, the Ding family was practically a bug in the system, a thorn in the side of the entire dynasty. Everyone: "This family is just... so inelegant!" Ding Xianyu: "Hey!" In short: A general thinks his daughter will have no trouble finding a husband, only to discover it isn't that simple. This novel will go VIP on Sunday, January 1, 2017, with three chapters released that day. Please keep supporting it.
