When the Seven Fairies meet the Calabash Brothers,
it's really just a story about a few pairs of passionate young people falling in love and fighting monsters.
Since there are as many as seven predictable couples, Xi thinks this story would be perfect as a crowd-pleasing rundown of clichéd romance-novel leads, their personalities, and their hackneyed plot twists.
In other words, this is a compilation piece, written for practice and to sum up more than a decade of watching TV dramas and reading novels.
The Calabash Brothers in this story will be wickedly charming, wild, cool, domineering, and irresistible. All sorts of immortals will make guest appearances, comedy will run throughout, and the ending is guaranteed to be HE.
The Calabash Brothers and the Seven Fairies here are all original characterizations by the author, different from every other version. Those with delicate hearts, stay away.
Apparently, readers will have one of two reactions: "Haha, that's fun!" or "Holy crap, you can do that?!" Just something to keep in mind.
