Blurb One
One dark and windy night, a certain beast of a man sneaks into a woman's home as usual, making a beeline for her room.
A scream rings out, followed by the thud of something heavy hitting the ground.
The woman laughs triumphantly. "Oh my, Young Master Luo, what brings you to my humble home today? I thought you were a burglar! What a terrible mistake."
She chuckles to herself. Hmph, that'll teach you to sneak up on me.
The man is furious.
The woman doesn't get to enjoy her victory for long before her luck runs out.
Scene Two
One sunny day, the woman goes shopping with her friend Tao and runs into the beastly man.
Her friend is thrilled. Pointing at the man's clothes, she whispers to the woman, "Wow, your sweetheart looks so handsome in that outfit! So elegant, so refined, so gorgeous... and the list goes on!"
The woman calmly glances at the man. "Mm, true."
She thinks to herself, He looks like a beast in fine clothes.
The man notices her gaze. His eyes light up, and he strikes a pose, clearly trying to catch her attention.
Her friend is practically glowing with excitement. "Xiao Liang, your man is so handsome! He's so manly! Where did you find him?"
The woman takes a look at the man and tells her friend, "Go to the zoo and find a monkey. Put clothes on it, and it'll be just as handsome as he is."
Her friend is speechless.
The man's face darkens instantly when he hears her. He takes the woman home and gives her a thorough scolding. The poor woman bursts into tears on the spot.
