A Snarky Take on Zhang Wuji's Gold-Inlaid Box (Possibly Taken Out of Context)

I've only ever seen TV and fanfiction versions of The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber.

The show didn't reveal how Zhang Wuji felt when he said he wanted the gold box inlaid properly.

Maybe I missed it in the fanfiction.

One day, I flipped through the original novel and read Zhang Wuji's inner monologue.

I was stunned.

I wonder what Zhao Min would think if she saw it too.
